Our World in a View

Our World in a View: As a photographer I see our world through the lens of my camera.  I see people, landscapes, buildings, the sky, lakes, oceans and life.  My minds eye wanders as I walk and drive.  Each day I look for some special image that expresses how I feel and see our world.  It is often very emotional, because! I see it in many different ways.  What I see is beauty and how we treat it.  During my travels I come in contact with people and things of all different walks.  When we look at the wild life around us, its pretty much the same.  In other words, wildlife creatures don't have big or little houses, fancy clothing or lots or little money.  This planet is their home and it is their survival playground.  We as mankind, apparently see it differently.  Many of us treat this living space as though there is no tomorrow.  The wildlife around us lives in the mess that we create and toss around.  If you think about it, so do we.  Try taking a good look around you! As I travel I see all sorts of garbage around the streets, roads, canals, ponds, and lakes.  This is very disturbing! The thing is, we are so busy living our lives, that we don't really notice it.  I can relate, because I to am living my life.  And that's just it, mine and ours!  We must understand that, its not just about us.  And it's not just about things.  These things are causing much of the problem.  For example, every time we go to the supermarket; paper or plastic is the question?  How many plastic bags do you see in the wind, stuck to trees and fences?

Here's the thing! When we go to our homes and close the door, all of this disappears, right! Wrong, those creatures living in the world, must continue living in it.  Ok, I know you've heard this before.  But it is a problem, and we can make a difference.  So climb onboard and lend a hand.

This is a beautiful world we live in.  I see it every day.  Let us leave it for future generations to enjoy! I'll be watching.
